VOLUNTEER WITH
SAFETY NET/PETS FOR LIFE NYC!
The Safety Net/Pets for Life NYC Program offers guidance, services, and solutions to people regarding problems they are having keeping their pet. The goal of the program is to help keep animals with their family by helping the family solve their problem. We also do spay/neuter education and referrals for free/low cost spay/neuter.
Volunteers Are Needed & Will Be Fully Trained To:
Consult On-Site in the shelters with people about to surrender their pet or a stray animal to prevent the surrender and keep the animal out of the shelter.
(Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island locations available.
Weekend, weekday, evening shifts available.)
Foster An Animal temporarily in your home for a client in crisis until the situation is resolved and the pet can return home.
Do Research to help us expand the resources that we offer clients.
