AC&C's 5th Annual Animal Care Spring Fling at the landmark National Arts Club attracted a large crowd on May 11, as more than 200 animal lovers came together to raise funds and awareness for homeless and abandoned dogs, cats, and rabbits. The auction was silent, but not the room: musicians Tamar Korn, Jeremy Siskind, and T. Oliver Reid brought the swing to the fling while lucky bidders laid claim to fantastic products and vacation packages.
Thanks to Event Co-chairs David Zyla and Kevin de l'Aigle, the entire Event Committee, our dedicated volunteers, Armani Exchange, and all the evening's sponsors for making it happen. And thanks to those who bought tickets and bid: proceeds from Friday night were directed to the Animal Care Fund, and because of the generosity of Fling attendees, animals will receive blankets, beds, toys, and other supplies to keep them happy and healthy, and give them the opportunity they all deserve to find forever homes.
We're grateful for participants' continued support, and encourage everyone to explore additional ways of donating and volunteering. If you don't want to miss future events, make sure to join our monthly Pet Post mailing list.
