A volunteer writes: Say hello to our Jack of Hearts! This low-riding meatball has the soul of a snuggler, the smarts of a scholar and an all-round awesome personality that's rocketed him to the top of every volunteer's 'must walk' list. Forget about stealing tarts, Jack's into dog treats and once he realizes you've got a pocket full of them he has eyes for no one else. He sits politely to await his reward and again for a toss of the tennis ball and while he may not fetch it back every time, he'll always come when you call with an eager tail wagging behind him. Jack's less keen on four-legged friends but a harness and some positive treat reinforcement could teach him to walk like the champion he was born to be and when he's around people this handsome boy simply shines with happiness. Visit our Manhattan Care Center and ask for a date with Jack but be warned--you just might lose your heart along the way!
