  • Dog

A foster writes: Triny (more commonly referred to as "Papa" or "Papi" in his foster home) is 1+ year old brindle boroughbred. People say his pictures don't do his good looks justice, and judging by the number of compliments he gets in any given day, they are probably right. Like most young dogs, Triny is power packed with energy. Even small amounts of excited energy around him provides Triny with a reason to jump and to play. At the same time, Triny also has a heart of gold and lives for affection. While in his foster home, Triny has been learning "heel", 'sit', 'stay', 'leave it', 'out', and 'off.' Triny would do best in a home where there is a calm energy, no young kids, and a knowledge of dog training skills (or a commitment to learning them) so that Triny's progress is sure to continue. Triny has proven himself to be a good natured and loving dog. He loves human companionship and I look forward to seeing him every day when I wake up or come home from work. If Triny might be a good candidate to be your new best friend, please contact the foster team at fosters@nycacc.org.
