ADOPT AN ADULT PET

Although AC&C has kittens and puppies available for adoption, we encourage all potential adopters to consider the rewards of adopting an adult animal. Adult pets enter our Care Centers full of energy and youthfulness! They are great because they do not need to be housebroken. In addition, they provide wonderful companionship without the demands of early age training or adolescent disobedience.

Adult pets are able to bond with a new adoptive family that provides a secure and consistent environment. Some adjustments are always needed, but again, adult pets are usually housetrained, obedient, and may even demonstrate tricks learned in its previous home. Discovering these little personality traits can be fun and ever so rewarding. Potential adopters are encouraged to speak to AC&C adoption staff about the availability of adult animals.
