Get Involved

Thousands of homeless and abandoned cats and dogs enter our Care Centers ever year needing a place to call home. With your support, each animal can continue to obtain the care, love, and attention they deserve until they are adopted by a loving family. As a 501c3, we are responsible for raising money to fulfill our mission and to provide programs and services. Donations, both monetary and in-kind, help AC&C cater to the needs of New York City’s pets and people. In addition, we rely on volunteers to enhance the care provided to the animals in our Animal Care Centers. Become a volunteer and donor and make a difference in the lives of pets today.

Why Become an AC&C Volunteer?

  • Animal Care & Control of NYC is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on the kindness and generosity of our volunteers to help provide care to NYC’s orphaned pets. Volunteering is not only a fun experience, but a rewarding one as well.
