Our Statistics

At AC&C, we aim to find each and every homeless and abandoned pet a loving home. Although we cannot find every animal a home, AC&C has progressed substantially in decreasing the number of animals that are euthanized. Through hosting adoption events and working with our New Hope program partners, the decrease in euthanasia rates has been substantial, but we still have a long way to go. Therefore, we encourage everyone to spay and neuter their pets as a critical way to help lower the occurrence of euthanasia.

Note: Minor variances in data reports are normal and stabilize over time. Variances result from closing or correcting records after the first of the month. These minor variances do not affect the overall trends conveyed in the reports. Corrections include: updating incorrect or missing outcome types or dates, removing duplicate records, and correcting user input errors discovered in routine data audits conducted by shelter supervisors and administrative staff.
